It is my hope to make this an interactive community page. To do that, I would like to hear from you! The Connections link on the SGGS webpage will send you to the Penn SIG forum. I will also be starting a Penn SIG Facebook page that I encourage you to follow. The link will be posted here in the near future.
When I began to research my husband’s ancestry, neither of us had any idea how far back in American history his tree would go. The discovery that his roots stretched back to the founding of our country and the state of Pennsylvania, sent me on a mission to revisit our country’s history on a level so much richer that what I had learned in school. It has become my favorite area research. While I do not claim to be any kind of expert, I have become passionate and willing to share what I have discovered. I hope that you will become a part of this SIG and share that same passion of historic discovery.
This page will include sections on genealogical research links, German Pennsylvania history and culture, photos, and much more. If you have something to add, please share it! If you have questions regarding your own Pennsylvania family history, ask our community and we will all do our best to you help out.
